Wow. It has been a great couple months being a part of the amazingly  fun, funk/soul band Eldridge Gravy and the Court Supreme! This 11 (sometimes 12) piece ensemble  is composed of true driving talent. Led by the soaring dynamic vocals of Eldridge Gravy himself, flanked by 3 horns, 3 back up singers, and a 4 piece rhythm section with keys, guitar, bass and drums, this band can really fill a stage (and pack the house!) Playing mostly original music with a few carefully chosen covers,  The Court Supreme gets people up on their feet and out on the dance floor like few can.

The band functions with a cohesive old-school aesthetic and disciplined work ethic. Hard work is always balanced with good times. I feel lucky to have been asked to be apart of this infectious group, along with fellow vocalist (Alex "Spicy Brown" Kitchen).  We got thrown directly into the fire, spending 3 awesome days at AVAST studio recording a full length album with the great sound engineer, Mell Dettmer.

Eldridge Gravy and the Court Supreme has one CD already released called Us Is What Time It Is. As well as a single  on vinyl called Exceptional.  I'm very excited to be playing at Nectar Lounge this Friday, January 21st ! Tubaluba will be opening for us and it will be a dance party to remember, for sure!
